Education
In 2005, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Latvia and obtained a doctor's degree. In 2010, he mastered the study programme “Residency in Medicine” and obtained the qualification of a geneticist. In 2013, he completed the Doctoral Study Programme in Medicine at Riga Stradins University. In 2014, he mastered the study programme “Residency in Medicine” and obtained the qualification of an immunologist.

Regularly participates in local and international scientific conferences and seminars in the field of genetics and immunology.
