Freezing of the genetic material

Many people dream of having a baby. Someone in early youth, another in the prime of their career. For many, this is the most cherished desire, in front of which everything pales and becomes unimportant. Everyone has their own time and age. However, the time for conceiving a child is very limited, so it is important to think about freezing the genetic material for both women and men. Especially in the following cases:

1. If in reproductive age, the idea of having a child is postponed for some reason.
2. If a serious illness has been diagnosed and treatment will be carried out – chemotherapy; radiation therapy; the use of antimycotic medication; the use of biological medications; long-term antibiotic therapy, etc. For men who have problems – reduced sperm count or undergoing treatment that improves the concentration and quality of sperm.
3. For high-risk professionals: military personnel, firefighters, police officers.

What exactly is egg freezing?

Egg freezing is a process when the collected eggs are frozen until the woman decides it is time for pregnancy. The collection of eggs before freezing does not have a negative effect on the further development of the cells and on the health of a woman in general.

Why do women choose to freeze their eggs?

A woman's ability to create offspring starts to decline after the age of 30. And if a woman has frozen her eggs, the probability of pregnancy will match the age at which the freezing was performed.

At what age is it recommended to freeze the eggs?

Egg freezing is highly recommended until the age of 35. At the latest - up to 40 years.

How long does the process take?

From the preparation course to the result, the month must be taken into account. After the treatment plan is ready, injections of medicines follow, lasting about 11 days.

How much does it cost?

The cost of egg freezing is EUR 3000 + medicines. Storage of eggs per year EUR 180.

It is mandatory to take tests for infections. This can be done at any laboratory or at our clinic.
