Graduated from the Riga Stradiņš University doctorate, additionally studied in laparoscopic surgery and laparoscopic hernia surgery courses in Belgium, laparoscopic colorectal surgery courses in France, bariatric surgery in Tallinn (Estonia), as well as in Lithuania.
Further training
Continues training in the field of laparoscopic surgery. Constantly participates in local and international medical congresses and seminars. Took part in the international seminar "Laparoscopic ventral hernia masterclass" in Istanbul, Turkey. An expert providing training for specialists in the field of laparoscopic hernia treatment in Latvia.
