Consults adult (18+) patients with various endocrine diseases:
- Diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2. Prediabetes. Gestational diabetes.
- Obesity and associated cardiovascular diseases.
- Dyslipidemia. Genetic types of lipid disorders.
- Thyroid diseases (hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism), thyroiditis of various origins: autoimmune hyperthyroidism (Graves' disease), chronic autoimmune thyroiditis, inflammation of the thyroid gland caused by viruses and bacteria. Diffuse enlargement of the thyroid gland. Thyroid nodules. Thyroid cancer.
- Epithelial diseases (hyperparathyroidism and hypoparathyroidism).
- Osteoporosis (primary and secondary - caused by other diseases).
- Adrenal diseases (Addison's disease, adrenal adenomas, adrenal incidentalomas, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hypercortisolemia - Cushing's syndrome, primary hyperaldosteronism).
- Electrolyte imbalances (hyperkalemia, hypokalemia, hypercalcemia and hypocalcemia, hyponatremia and hypernatremia).
- Pituitary diseases: prolactinoma, acromegaly, Cushing's disease, secondary hypothyroidism, hypopituitarism, pituitary incidentaloma.
- Neuroendocrine tumours (gastrointestinal tract, bronchopulmonary system).
- Testicular dysfunction. Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in men.
